Samsung Tilburg is looking for a Service Operator to join our team. In this role, you will play an important part in ensuring the smooth operation of our machines, contributing to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Job Description:

As a Service Operator, your main responsibility will be the daily and weekly maintenance of machines used within the warehouse. You will gain practical experience and work closely with the Facility Department to develop your skills. Initially, you will work alongside the team to learn the ins and outs of the machines and the maintenance process, with the goal of becoming independent in troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Your key tasks will include:

• Machine Maintenance: Assist in the daily and weekly upkeep of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaboration with Facility Team: Work alongside the Facility Department in the beginning to gain in-depth knowledge of the machines and their functions.
• Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Over time, you will develop the skills to independently address issues when the Facility Department is unavailable.
• Vendor Communication: Learn to liaise with external vendors for machine support and parts, and understand how to effectively communicate technical issues.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Gain insights into various departments within Samsung and be ready to assist in different areas when needed.

The company you'll work for handles logistics for various clients, including Samsung Electronics. You'll work in our warehouse in Tilburg, with an on-site office for easy communication with our employees.

You can reach the warehouse easily from Oosterhout, 's Hertogenbosch, Etten-Leur, Breda and surrounding areas.

Who We're Looking For:

• A proactive individual eager to learn and grow in the field of machine maintenance.
• A team player with good communication skills, capable of working alongside various departments. Language required is English!
• An interest in technology and machinery, with a desire to become a skilled Service Operator.
• Good in problem solving
• Can thrive under pressure
• Able to make pictures and video’s in order to send this to the vendor by phone
• Able to communicate problems and situations in a clear way to vendors
• Able to act on advise of a vendor to fix problems
• Experience in technical work
• Able to work in two shifts (6.00 - 14.30 / 14.30 - 23.00)

Wat mag je verwachten?

• Starting salary of €14.77 per hour
• Travel allowance from the first kilometer at €0.23 per km
