Wat ga je doen?

As a reachtruck driver at DHL in Beringe you will drive a large part of the day on the reach truck, but you will also perform other work such as order picking or In/Outbound. Are you available fulltime for a longer period and do you want to enjoy your weekend off? Then read on to see what your day looks like at DHL.

Your day starts in the morning between 7.00 and 10.00 a.m. You need to be present on the work floor 10 minutes before your start time. You will then have a daily meeting with your colleagues & team leader to go through the day together. Once everything is clear to everyone you will start working on the reach truck. Using a reach truck together with a hand scanner you place the incoming goods in the higher rack or take them out so your colleagues can prepare the pallets for dispatch. Should it be a quieter day or should there be a quiet moment during the day, you may be able to help your other colleagues with In/Outbound, order picking or other activities. By working together with your colleagues you ensure that everyone finishes his/her workday on time!

Waar ga je werken?

You will be working through Olympia at DHL in Beringe, this village is located in the municipality of Peel and Maas. Deutsche Post DHL is the largest logistics service provider in the world. DHL offers its customers services and customized solutions for managing and transporting letters, goods and data. 

DHL in Beringe is not easily accessible by public transportation, hence owning your own transportation is important. Furthermore, this location is easily accessible from the Roermond, Venlo, Helmond, Venray, Peel & Maas and Weert area.

It is a varied team of permanent and temporary colleagues, this can vary from a team of 10-20 colleagues. 

Wie ben je?

• You are full-time available from Monday to Friday between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm;
• You have your own transportation;
• You are fluent in Dutch, German and/or English for safety reasons;
• You have a reach truck certificate or are willing to obtain o

Wat mag je verwachten?

• A gross hourly wage of €13,68
• If you drive 50% or more on the reach truck in 3 months, a raise is attached; 
• 130% allowance when working between 6pm - 6am;
• Vacation hours this amounts to 10% of your worked hours
• 8,33% vacation pay;
• A maximum travel allowance of €9,30 per day for 20 km or more one way;
• At an annual appraisal you will receive a salary increase of on average between 0%-3.5%;

• You start with a temporary contract with Olympia, but with good performance there is a chance that you can eventually be taken over by the customer.
