Are you the logistics team leader who keeps the department running smoothly while prioritizing safety? Then we are looking for you!

For our client Schneider Electric in Helmond, we are seeking a team leader to manage a team of approximately 15 logistics employees. You will work with an international team, so a good command of the English language is important. You will be responsible for one department, but you can also support other departments if necessary. You will create work schedules, staff and warehouse planning, and ensure that the incoming and/or outgoing goods flow is well managed.

Not only do you get energized by the logistics process, but also by contributing to the development of warehouse operators and multi-skilled operators.

Other responsibilities included in your role:

  • Proactively managing KPIs and departmental goals;
  • Selecting, introducing, and training new employees;
  • Attending meetings on safety, quality, service, productivity, and personnel;
  • Taking the initiative to implement improvements in the department;
  • Responsible for workplace organization (5S) and performance records;
  • Leading work meetings;
  • Contributing to the development of warehouse operators and multi-skilled operators.

You will work from Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM. During busy periods, you may occasionally need to work on Saturdays.

The location in Helmond is easily accessible by car from various cities, including Weert, Eindhoven, and Venray.

Wie ben je?

  • Understanding and speaking the Dutch and English language;
  • Proven experience as a team leader in similar roles;
  • Knowledge of MS Office, ERP / WMS (preferred);
  • Minimum MBO level education completed.

Wat mag je verwachten?

  • A gross salary ranging from € 2900 to € 3200, based on your experience and fulltime availability;
  • Direct contract with the client for one year;
  • Travel cost coverd up to 70KM;
  • Quarterly bonus based on hours worked;
