Wat ga je doen?

Are you precise and a team player? Then this is the right place for you. In this role, we have one goal: to sort and deliver all packages on time and to the right customer. To handle this important task, we are looking for workers for our sorting center.

As a sorting worker at DHL Amersfoort, you will ensure the sorting process runs smoothly. This includes correctly unloading packages so the system can scan them and know where to send them next. You may also work on the sorting line, making sure the packages in your area go into the right containers to be sent to the right recipient. We deal with all kinds of packages here—big, small, heavy, and light, up to 25kg.

Wie ben je?

• Physically demanding work is not a problem for you; 
• You speak Dutch or English well enough; 
• You have your own transportation to get to the location; public transport is not an option; 
• You are available to work between 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM and 2:15 AM - 8:00 AM; 
• You can apply for a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG). This will be paid for by Olympia.

Wat mag je verwachten?

• A gross hourly wage of €13.68; 
• Shift allowances depending on the times you work (ploegentoeslag):
• Between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM, 112.5%, which is €15.39 gross per hour;
• Between 8:00 PM and 12:00 AM, 125%, which is €17.10 gross per hour;
• Between 12:00 AM and 6:00 AM, 130%, which is €17.78 gross per hour;
• On Saturdays, 150%, which is €20.52 gross per hour;
• A travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer if you live more than 5 kilometers from the location (reiskostenvergoeding); 
• Flexible workdays; 
• 8% holiday pay (vakantiegeld); 
• You get a temporary contract through the employment agency Olympia; 
• If you perform well, there is a possibility to be hired by DHL; 
• Opportunity to get your forklift certificate; 
• Immediate pension build-up from your first day of work (pensioensregeling).
