Wat ga je doen?

Have you ever received a package too late or thought, "What happened to this?" Now you have the chance to change that and play an important role in that process.

At DHL in The Hague, we are looking for people to help process packages in our warehouse, making sure they reach the right person on time, in good condition and complete. The packages come from online stores like Bol, Amazon or Coolblue, and they can sometimes be heavy. But that's not a problem for you, you can cancel your gym membership and get to work instead.

Together with your colleagues, you’ll make sure this process runs 24/7 since we’re always open. You'll mostly work evening and night shifts, which means extra pay on top of your salary. You’re available from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM and/or 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, from Monday to Sunday, full-time or part-time, whichever suits you best.

At our location in Ypenburg at The Hague we sort packages of all sizes and weights. We are open 24/7 to ensure that people receive their packages at home or at a pickup point within 48 hours. While working, you can use lockers for free to keep your belongings safe and you can also enjoy free coffee and tea for an extra energy boost.

We are easily accessible by car and public transport due to our shift times, especially from Rotterdam, Zoetermeer, Leiden and Westland.

Wie ben je?

• You can start in week 38 (16 sep - 22 sep);
• You are available for at least 3 days a week;
• You are physically fit to lift packages up to 25 kg;
• You have your own transportation to get to the location;
• You speak Dutch and/or English.

Wat mag je verwachten?

• A gross salary of €13,68 per hour;
• €14,92 per hour for work between 6.00 PM and 8.00 PM (ploegentoeslag);
• €16,58 per hour for work between 8.00 PM and 12.00 AM;
• €17,25 per hour for work between 12.00 AM and 6.00 AM;
• €26,54 per hour for work on Sundays and holidays;
• Travel allowance for distances starting from 5 kilometers up to a maximum of 30 kilometers (kilometervergoeding;
• Free parking at the location (parkeergelegenheden);
• 8% holiday pay and 10% vacation days (vakantiegeld en vakantiedagen);
• You start building your pension after working just one day (pensioenregeling);
• You can choose to be paid weekly or every 4 weeks.
