Wat ga je doen?

As a Shipping Employee at DHL Supply Chain, supporting ASML, you will be responsible for packaging, coordinating, and documenting the shipment of ASML's semiconductor equipment and products, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Packaging and Labeling: Safely package ASML products according to guidelines, ensuring secure transit. Accurately label shipments and complete required documentation.
  • Shipping Coordination: Collaborate with logistics partners to schedule and coordinate shipments, ensuring timely and precise deliveries.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks on outgoing shipments to meet ASML's high standards.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs forms.
  • Inventory Management: Keep accurate inventory records and track products throughout the shipping process.

The position follows a rotating 2-shift schedule: Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 15:00 one week, and 15:00 - 00:00 the next week. Weekend flexibility is required.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be required to apply for a VGB (security clearance), which mandates providing a full account of residential addresses for the past 8 years, as well as the last 5 years for your partner.

This is an on-site position, hybrid/remote work is not an option.

ASML Building 5L, located in Veldhoven, offers convenient transportation options for both cars and bicycles connecting to regions such as Eindhoven, Helmond, Veghel, and Valkenswaard. The facility is easily accessible by car through well-connected road networks, providing ample free parking spaces. Additionally, cyclists can take advantage of designated bike lanes and secure parking zones dedicated to bicycles.

Wie ben je?

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Proficient with computers and software such as Microsoft Excel is a must.
  • A valid electric pallet-truck certification is preferred but not mandatory - training will be provided
  • Full-time role, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
  • Availability for one weekend day twice a month is essential.
  • Detail-oriented to ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets.
  • Strong communication skills and effective teamwork abilities.
  • A VGB (Verklaring van geen bezwaar) is a requirement once you start - you must be able to provide all residential addresses for the past 8 years with no gaps.
