What are you going to do?
As a full-time or part-time order picker at one of the largest textile care organisations in Alphen aan den Rijn, you will ensure that hospitals in particular always have clean textiles at their disposal. You will initially be employed by us, but will have a chance of a permanent contract after a while.
Your day as an order picker starts at 7.15 in the morning. As soon as you enter, you feel the energy in the warehouse. You grab your scanner and start your first task: picking orders. With your scanner in hand, you walk through the aisles, looking for the right items. It feels a bit like a treasure hunt, with you playing the lead role!
As you collect the orders, you pay close attention to whether you scan everything correctly. Your accuracy is crucial, because hospitals count on you for their clean sheets, towels and other textile products. You work quickly but carefully, because you know how important your work is for the patients and hospital staff.
During the day, you alternate picking orders with processing incoming textile goods from hospitals. You sort, check and make sure everything gets to the right place for the next step in the cleaning process. It gives you satisfaction to see how your work contributes to hygiene and comfort in hospitals.
Your working day ends at 5pm, but depending on your contract and personal preferences, which days will be determined. Whether you work 24 or 40 hours a week, you largely determine your own schedule. This flexibility allows you to optimally balance work and private life.

The work location is in Alphen aan den Rijn, a pleasant city in the Green Heart. It's handy if you live within a 15 km radius, so you won't be on the road for too long. Do you live near Bodegraven, Woerden or Zoetermeer? Then this job is perfect for you! How exactly you get to work is up to you. By bike, car or perhaps public transport - choose what suits you best.
In the warehouse, you work together with a team of enthusiastic colleagues. Together, you ensure that all orders are collected correctly and prepared for dispatch. It is fun and varied work, in which you are on the move a lot and work together with others. Your supervisor is always ready to help you if you have any questions.
