Wat ga je doen?

Have you always wanted to work in logistics but lack experience? Or do you already have experience and are looking for a new employer? If so, we are looking for you! 

We are hiring a Receiving Logistics Employee for Michael Kors in Venlo. In this role, you will be part of the inbound process. This means you will receive, sort, register, and, if necessary, repackage all incoming goods so they can be moved to the correct departments for further processing.

What your day looks like:

You start the day with a short team meeting, where we go over the daily targets and expected volumes, ensuring we're well-prepared for the day ahead. The first containers will then arrive, and together we ensure everything is unloaded and distributed onto pallets. This can be physically demanding, but you’ll always have the support of the team. Working in a small, close-knit team means we know exactly how to rely on one another. Once the goods are received, the pallets may need to be moved for storage. For this, you’ll use a pallet truck or an EPT. While certificates are not required, having them would certainly be an advantage!

In Venlo, we manage the logistics operations for Jimmy Choo and Michael Kors. While Versace is currently distributed from Italy, it may also be included in the future. For Jimmy Choo and Michael Kors, we handle logistics across all three channels: ecommerce, retail, and wholesale.

A few years ago, a new distribution center was opened in Venlo. This warehouse is sustainably built, boasts a luxurious design, and is equipped with solar panels. From Venlo, Capri Holdings ships its popular products to Europe and the Middle East. As a logistics associate, you will be part of this international, fast-growing company.

Wie ben je?

For a position as a Warehouse Employee for Michael Kors, we only have a few mandatory requirements:

• You have a good knowledge of the Englisch language, both verbally and in written;
• You have your own transport to get to the location. Public transport is unfortunately not an option;
• You don't have any holidayplans during peak season, which will start in the beginning of November and usually lasts until the end of January;
• We can count on you, if we work extra, like a 9-hour shift or Sunday, if necessary;

• A salary of €13.68 gross per hour;
• Overtime (130%) and Sunday (200%) allowances;
• Travel allowance of €0,21 per kilometer with a maximum of €12.60 per day;
