Transport Coordinator

Wat ga je doen?

We are looking for a driven Logistics Coordinator to strengthen our team. In this role you are responsible for daily transport planning, distribution and reporting. You act as a link between various departments and external partners to ensure optimal service to our customers. This jobs contains various tasks, such as:

Inbound/Outbound/Transport

  • Execute daily transport planning and customer orders for the delivery of goods.
  • Preparing advanced shipping notifications.
  • Checking required documents before departure of orders to avoid delays.Collection of IOD/COD as per receipt KPIs.
  • Act as a contact person for the Order Desk, sales departments, 3PL logistics partners and purchasing planners.
  • Identify and escalate deviations to team leaders and management.
  • Working in accordance with the applicable SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).

Reporting

  • Receive and analyze daily GI reports to determine progress of goods issued.
  • Editing weekly and daily schedules and sharing them with logistics service providers and management.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks and respond to special requests to meet customer and sales department needed

Distribution and warehouse planning

  • Edit and send daily order status reports to management, order desk and logistics service providers.
  • Editing and sending daily open order reports to management, order desk and sales departments.

We have an on-site office, making communication easy for our employees. Samsung SDS is located on Theseusstraat in Tilburg and is easily accessible from Breda, 's Hertogenbosch, Etten-Leur and Oosterhout.

Wie ben je?

  • At least 1-3 experience in a logistics position. 
  • Knowledge of transport planning and warehouse management. 
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude. 
  • Skilled in working with ERP systems and MS Office. P
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
