Wat ga je doen?

Are you an experienced buyer with a passion for the aviation industry? Do you want to contribute to the smooth operation of aircraft maintenance and repairs? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you with our client!

As an Aircraft Parts Buyer, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational procurement of aircraft components and related services. Your role ensures that all materials and services are available at the right time and under the best conditions, enabling maintenance processes to run efficiently and without interruptions. You’ll work closely with internal departments and external suppliers, proactively ensuring that aircraft remain safe and operational on time.

  • Processing purchase, repair, and sales orders.
  • Organizing and following up on shipments, including AOG (Aircraft on Ground) transportation.
  • Generating reports for internal and external clients.
  • Managing high-value components during maintenance projects.
  • Providing administrative support to the Logistics team.
  • Assisting in the preparation of quotations for the Sales Manager.

Our client, a well-established and independent aircraft maintenance provider, is currently expanding its operations. Since 1988, they have specialized in servicing regional jet and turboprop aircraft. Operating with over 300 dedicated professionals, the company is based at its main maintenance facilities at Maastricht Airport, with additional line stations worldwide.

Wie ben je?

  • At least 3 years of work experience in a Purchasing / Buyers function.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and databases.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Wat mag je verwachten?

  • A starting salary of € 2997 per month (incl. ADV) with opportunity to grow to € 3300 after 7 months of employment.
  • 25 vacation days, 8% holiday allowance, and pension contributions.
  • Travel allowance of €0.23 per km, up to a maximum of 60 km per working day.
  • Possibility of a direct contract with the company after six to seven months of employment.
  • A position in an international team.
