 Do you want to earn some extra money during the holidays? Or are you looking for a temporary job as a Logistics Employee? Then you’ve come to the right place! Whether you have experience or not, we will teach you everything you need to know and help you embark on an exciting, active career.

What will you do?

As a warehouse employee, you’ll be part of a lively work environment, dealing with a wide variety of products. There are several departments, each with its own responsibilities. Together with your colleagues, you’ll ensure that everything in the warehouse is processed efficiently and accurately.

  • Receiving and inspecting goods: You’ll check whether incoming products are complete and undamaged.
  • Order picking: You’ll collect orders using a scanner or packing list and prepare them for shipment.
  • Loading and unloading: You’ll help load and unload trucks using a forklift or pallet truck.
  • Inventory management: You’ll monitor stock levels and assist with stock counts and inventories.
  • Keeping the warehouse clean and safe: Maintaining order and cleanliness in the warehouse is essential for efficient working.

If you are only available in the mornings or afternoons, no worries! We work in two shifts, and you can choose the shift that suits you best. The morning shift runs from 06:00 to 15:00, and the afternoon shift from 14:00 to 23:00.

Where will you work?

You will be working at IJsvogel Retail B.V., a specialist in pet and garden products, and the owner of well-known stores like Pets Place and Boerenbond. The warehouse in Ede handles online orders and stock replenishment for the stores.

We are looking for someone who is available from week 13 to week 37, with a minimum availability of 7 weeks in a row. If everything goes well and both sides are satisfied, there is a chance to stay on after this period and even secure a permanent position.

The warehouse is easily accessible from EdeWageningen, Arnhem, and Veenendaal, and you can park for free on the premises.

What do you bring?

  • Fulltime availability.
  • You can work from 06:00 to 15:00 or from 14:00 to 23:00.
  • Available between week 13 and week 37 for at least 7 weeks in a row.
  • Speaks good Dutch or English. This is important for communicating with your colleagues.
  • You are at least 18 years old.

What do we offer you?

  • A salary of €14.06 gross per hour.
  • Shift allowance of €0.69 per hour for specific departments.
  • Additional allowances for working irregular hours:
    • 30% for shifts after 20:00.
    • 50% for working on Saturdays.
    • 100% for working on Sundays.
  • A performance bonus of 4% after 3 months of good performance.
  • Accrual of vacation hours, holiday pay and pension.
  • Travel allowance from 10 km of €0.19 cents per kilometer.
