Wat ga je doen?

Our client is opening a new warehouse in Helmond from the first of April. This is a brand new project and they are looking for loyal and motivated people to help and build this project. 

As a warehouse employee you’ll be working within an agile team managing the goods in process, replenishing stocks, act as a supportive pick team (ad hoc). You will also be ensuring the warehouse is clean/tidy and in keeping with health and safety standards to ensure the warehouse is ready for the next day’s shift. This is an allround logistics job and you're expected to be able to do all the tasks.

This will be in day shift where the working hours would be from 08:00 untill 17:00.

Below are your responsibilities in detail:

Goods in and out: 

  • You'll do this with the forklift or by hand. 
  • Checking off all goods against PO’s, some basic QC checks may be requested from time to time.
  • Receipting in stock into the CRM system.
  • Splitting down pallets and organising goods into product variants (types and sizes).

Stock rotation and Replenishment:

  • Run replenishment list.
  • Pull down stock from bulk location (maybe with Reachtruck).
  • Replenishing pick location.
  • Refill bulk location from goods in.
  • Stock counts.
  • Warehouse reorganisation, stock relocations, racking changes etc.

Orderpicking:

  • Pick and pack and fulfil orders.

Warehouse upkeep & next day preparation:

  • Ensure isles are kept clear of obstacles and hazards. (Strapping, boxes on floor, etc. )
  • Empty boxes to be broken down and removed from isles or pick bins.
  • Ensure the warehouse yard is well kept. Clear of obstacles.
  • All empty pallets to be kept well stacked and in an orderly fashion.

Our client are manufacturers of thermal protective workwear, used in temperature controlled areas such as cold storage, food processing/manufacturing, foodservice and also in the colder winter months. When you buy a product from our client you know that it's going to be comfortable and warm, developed with 20 years of research and development and made to stand the test of time.

It's an English company that was founded in 1979. They are opening their new warehouse in Helmond because they need a warehouse within the European Union.

Location:

The new warehouse is located in Helmond and is easily reachable by car from the following places: Eindhoven, Weert, Veldhoven, Venray, Nuenen, Geldrop, Son en Breugel, Deurne.

Wie ben je?

  • Fulltime availability (40 hours).
  • Able to do physical work.
  • Forklift and/or Reachtruck certificate are a plus.
  • Experience in logistics.
  • Able to work with computers.
  • Motivated to build a new project and stay there for a long period.
  • Willing to work in an international company.

Wat mag je verwachten?

  • An hourly wage of €16,-.
  • You'll start with a contract for one month with Olympia, when you and the client are both satisfied you'll get a contract from our client after this month.
  • Holiday allowance of 8%.
  • 25 vacation days.
  • Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer for a one-way distance between 15 km and 30 km.
  • After 8 weeks of work, you will start accruing a pension. If you are already accruing a pension with another employment agency, we will of course ensure that the accrual continues seamlessly.
