We are looking for an Assembly Mechanic for Vanderlande in Veghel. In this position, you’ll work day shifts on innovative projects for clients like Schiphol, Amazon, and Walmart. You’ll independently assemble machines based on work instructions, drawings, and specifications.

  • Independently assembling machines and systems based on drawings, work instructions, and 3D models
  • Gathering parts and carefully preparing your work
  • Performing assembly tasks: 90% mechanical, 10% electrical (with electrical support provided by specialists)
  • Carrying out quality checks and ensuring timely and tidy completion of work
  • Reporting progress to your team leader on a daily basis
  • Actively thinking about how processes can be improved
  • Testing systems, completing documentation, and supporting colleagues where needed

Waar ga je werken?


You’ll be working at Vanderlande’s factory in Veghel, where about 165 professionals work across departments such as turning, milling, welding, coating, and assembly. On the Assembly team, you'll work with 60 colleagues in an open and informal environment. The culture? Hands-on, engaged, and growth-oriented. The location is easily accessible from Eindhoven, 's Hertogenbosch, Helmond, Oss, Veldhoven  (right off the A50). 

Wie ben je?

  • Minimum MBO level 2 education (secondary vocational education)
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to read technical drawings and diagrams
  • You speak English and are willing to learn Dutch
  • You work accurately, are results-oriented, and solution-focused
  • You show initiative and contribute to an efficient work environment

Wat mag je verwachten?

  • Full-time position in day shift
  • Salary between €3,200 and €3,800 gross per month (depending on experience)
  • Opportunity for advancement beyond the salary scale with strong performance
  • 25 vacation days
  • You get €0.21 per kilometer if you travel more than 10 kilometers
  • 8.33% holiday allowance
  • Pension contributions
  • Weekly payment via Olympia
