Mastermind in Flexible Planning.

Wat ga je doen?

Do you know those 1000-piece puzzles? They’re a breeze for you. As a planner, you are essentially a professional puzzler. You create schedules for your client, GXO in Nieuwegein, involving multiple flex workers from Olympia. You see it as a challenge to complete the most impossible schedules. As the link between the client and the flex workers, you ensure an efficient planning process, always keeping both parties' interests in mind. In this role, you bear a lot of responsibility. If the schedule is incorrect or not completed on time, your client’s process will come to a halt. Besides being a planner, you also serve as a: Intercedent, recruiter and;

Go-to person: Flex workers come to you first with questions about the schedule. Whether they want time off, need to take an unexpected day off, are sick, or want to swap or shift shifts. Although much is managed through the planning system’s app, you are the ultimate point of contact for anything related to the roster. Thanks to your people skills, you can easily tell when a flex worker truly cannot work or when further questioning is necessary. If there are gaps in your schedule, you find an appropriate solution in collaboration with your client.
Initiator: You continuously take the initiative to stay ahead in planning. This means maintaining a good exchange with the client. You are in constant dialogue with the client about the forecast: when is a peak expected? What competencies are needed for that? Only by continuously communicating with your client about expectations and developments can you build a flexible pool. This way, you know exactly what is required, whether people need training, and if any issues in the schedule are looming. Where necessary, you contact colleagues to facilitate temporary transitions or to place flex workers from your colleague’s pool at your client’s site.
Guardian: You are the guardian of processes and of proper record-keeping in your administration. Boring? Not at all. By keeping everything in order, you contribute to the quality standards required for this work.
